Hi all,
Still really busy. I have a few huge papers due this week, so I'll be MIA until next week most likely. A few updates:
My grandma Ba passed away not quite 3 weeks ago peacefully. I miss her, but I was able to make it to the states to spend some time with her before she died, and I am so fortunate for that opportunity.
I got to see Michael Gambon speak on campus a couple weeks ago. He plays Dumbledore in Harry Potter. It was aweomse.
I was in a show at The Samuel Beckett Theatre! It was a success, but most important: It was a massive learning experience.
My friends were here! Nick, Andrea, Morgan and Freddy flew in last week!
We went to Galway, saw the Cliffs of Moher and visited the Burren on the west coast of Ireland. Pictures to come.
We went to Barcelona, Spain! Really amazing stuff. Again, pics to come when I have time.
I have my dissertation idea almost solidified and I give my proposal on Thursday. I'll be researching comedy within children's theatre.
Sir Terry Pratchett is now adjunct faculty in my department. He is one of Aunt Mary's favourite authors. Holler.
My cousin Gabe flies in this month! Can't wait!
